Garden Girl

Today we planted Daddy's pepper garden for him.  He likes to grow spicy peppers to make hot sauce.  Before planting them we made some garden markers so he would be able to tell which peppers were which.  To start I wrote the name of the pepper on a 4x6 index card and drew a picture of it as well.  Eva then colored the peppers in.
Then I stapled them to tongue depressors and covered the cards with contact paper to protect them from the elements.  After planting the pepper plants we placed the markers in the soil and now Daddy will know what kinds of peppers he is growing.
